Huawei introduced a couple of new gadgets this month, and besides releasing the B6 band which has the potential to turn heads, the Chinese tech giant also launched the MateBook D 14, and the MateBook D 15 in a new Ryzen Edition.
The MateBook D 14, and the MateBook D 15 are not themselves a brand new innovation from the Chinese company; rather both the laptops were launched in the last quarter of 2019 – in November 2019, to be precise.
But the new laptops are a new Ryzen edition of the old laptops. The Huawei MateBook D 14 and the Huawei MateBook D 15 feature 14-inches, and 15.6-inches of the display screen and offer a resolution of 1080p.
The laptops contain an almost bezel-less design, making the screen of the laptops appear to be a three-sided micro-frame design. The thickness of D 14 is 15.9mm and the weight is 1.38kg.
The thickness of D 15 is 16.9mm and 1.53kg. Under the hood, both the laptops are equipped with up to R7 4700U processor and a new high-energy mode. In terms of its software, the new addition to both the laptops appears to be the new Huawei share, touch connection. Moreover, a computer can operate mobile phone calls and documents.
The smartphone too could come handy here, and the exchange process appears to work both ways. The smartphone too can bring more applications to the computer.
These two new editions of the laptops have launched in China so far, and no news of its global launch has been made public yet. Additionally, it is not known if the company will launch the laptop in other countries as well. If there is to be a global launch, the official announcement is certainly awaited. However, as for the Chinese market, the Huawei MateBook D14, and the Huawei Mate D15 Ryzen edition start at the price of 4099 yuan.
