PUBG might be banned in India, the news shatters the young minds

The government of India continues its move of banning Chinese apps due to sovereignty and security reasons. 47 apps of Chinese origin have been banned by the government in the country today. The list of banned apps includes cloned versions of the 59 Chinese mobile applications that it had banned last month, including Tiktok Lite, SHAREit Lite, BIGO LIVE Lite, Helo Lite, CamScanner Advanced, among others.

This step has come after the government’s announcement of scrutinizing another 275 Chinese apps under scanner. If any of them is found to be a threat for national security and user privacy, then it is likely to be banned.

The exhaustive list includes the gaming app, PUBG from the most valuable internet major of China, Tencent, Zili from Xiaomi, and AliExpress from eCommerce giant Alibaba, among others.

This came as a severe shock to the fans of this tremendously popular mobile game. Earlier, they breathed a sigh of relief when the name of PUBG didn’t turn up in the list of banned apps. But the good old days seem to end now. As a reaction to this news, netizens are making innovative memes in the social media.
