Amazon leaks a new Zelda game is coming to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch will launch a new game called The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. A new Amazon listing revealed the news. The beloved old game first saw the light of day in the hands of Nintendo Wii, and its 2016 version was launched on the Wii U eShop.

Even though there has been no official announcement on the part of Nintendo, the listing clearly marks Nintendo Switch as its container.

Amazon lists the game at the price of $69.99 which certainly turned heads; the description, although, does not reveal the name of the game, it has been pretty clear to the netizens that the “not yet been released” title is none other than The Legend of Zelda.

In this respect, it should be mentioned that the upcoming year 2021 will mark the 35-year anniversary of the Legend of Zelda series and the 10-year anniversary of Skyward Sword’s release. Even though there is still some scepticism around the legitimacy of the game, it could be that information about the game has already been leaked.

Since 2021 will be the 35-year anniversary for the Zelda franchise, the Nintendo team could as well make use of this year announcing the new Zelda game so as to tide gans over this gaming series, at least until the Breath of the Wild 2 finally releases on the console.

The Breath of the Wild sequel made its appearance at E3 2019 accompanied by a trailer that concealed more than it revealed. However, the trailer did hint at the return of Demise, and the villain mastermind Ganondorf. So, in fact, it will be profitable for Nintendo to get its users acquainted with the Skyward Sword and to Demise for, perhaps, the first time. Although Amazon has leaked Skyward Sword port for Switch, the exact date for launch is yet to be unveiled.
