When these telecom operators often call and send spam SMS to their subscribers, then the subscribers can opt-in for the Do not disturb service.

When you are opted-in for this service, then you do not get unwanted calls and SMS from your internet service provider (Reliance Jio).

But, it is not necessary that you will not get any call and SMS from your internet service provider.

You might get one call / and one SMS in a month from Reliance Jio.

Moreover, DND service is started by the TRAI also know as (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India).

Method One: Using My Jio App

1) First of all download the My Jio app from the Android store or from the Apple store.

2) After that, click on the install button and wait for a few minutes.

3) If you already have the My Jio app installed then update it for the DND feature.

4) Now, open the app and log in to the My Jio app.

5) Then click on the menu option on the left and then click on the setting option.

6) Now click on the service setting and then click on the Do not disturb option.

7) Then toggle to option to FULL DND.

8) You have successfully activated the Do not disturb service on your Jio mobile number.

Method Two: Using Jio DND Activation Code

1) First of all turn on your smartphone after inserting the Jio sim card.

2) If you have the Jio sim in your smartphone then open the phone dialer.

3) After that dial this 1909 number from your Jio mobile number

4) Then click on the call button and then put your smartphone near your ear.

5) Now follow the instruction on the call to activate DND on your Jio number.

Method Three: Using SMS App

1) First of all, open your SMS app or message app on your smartphone.

2) Then, you have to compose an SMS from the app.

3) Now enter this START 0 text in the compose box.

4) After than send this SMS on this 1909 number.

5) After that, you will get the confirmation SMS from your operator.

6) To block a particular category SMS and calls dial below words in the SMS and then send the SMS to 1909 number.

How to Deactivate DND in Jio:

1) To deactivate the DND activation open the My Jio app.

2) Then click on the hamburger menu icon and then click on the setting option.

3) Now click on the service setting and then you will get some option.

4) Then you have to click on the Do Not Disturb service tab.

5) Now toggle the option from FULL DND to OFF.

6) You have successfully deactivated the Full DND on your mobile number.
