Cyberpunk 2077 tweets to get Patch 1.1 update within 10 days

Studio CD Projekt Red has finally revealed information about the release schedule for Cyberpunk 2077 updates. As per Studio CD Projekt Red’s official Twitter account, the long-awaited update will be launched on January 14.
The announcement of the release of the updates came alongside an apology video from the part of the company. The company issued a public apology for the questionable performance of the game, especially on consoles.

Co-founder of CD Projekt Marcin Iwinski shared some insights and also revealed the trajectory for the upcoming patches.

Iwinski stated, “I and the entire leadership team are deeply sorry for this and this video is me publically [sic] owning up to that. Please don’t fault any of our teams for what happened. They all are incredibly talented and hardworking,” he said.

The co-founder of CD Projekt added that the final call to release the game was taken by him and the members of the board. He further mentioned, “Although, believe me, we never ever intended for anything like this to happen. I assure you that we will do our best to regain your trust.”

The developers announced that within the next 10 days, they will release patch 1.1, and the larger update 1.2 will be released in the upcoming few weeks.

Until the end of 2021, CD Projekt will be launching various patches, and during the same period, the developers will also launch free downloadable add-ons.

However, the add-ons are not the immediate priority for the developer team, and that they are focused on the most important fixes and updates.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players who are playing the game with backward compatibility may get the free next-gen update for the game in the second half of this year. The company also shared further detailed information on the status of the game on their website.
