In a recent tweet, the famous game, PUBG, announced that there has been a new addition to the canon of vehicles available on the game: “The vintage 2-seater Coupe RB is the fastest thing on 4 wheels and is now available across most Battlegrounds! Grab this zippy new sports car on your next drop!” The teaser tweeted along with the main tweet shows a player driving the car both on a road, and on a field, swerving along, taking the player places.
The new addition to the game, the Coupe RB is apparently, a vintage sports car that comes with a blazing top speed of 150 km/h. The only other vehicle in this speed contest would be the Motorbike which still is the fastest vehicle on land in PUBG.
The car could be an efficient medium of transportation in the game, it also comes with a downside. The Coupe RB cannot, on its own carry a whole squad. It can only carry the player, and it will get them where they need to go fast. However, as mentioned by PUBG in the tweet, the sportscar is a 2-seater, perhaps another member could accompany the driver. The new swanky car is available only on Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.
The new vehicle comes as part of its 10.2 update that also offers a patch for major esports hooks, and a reputation system designed to highlight friendly players. The PUBG Global Invitational.S sets teams from around the world against each other in a week-long tournament.
Teams will play for placements in weekly tournaments and win prizes along the way. The new update will also initiate a new Pick’em Challenge which will give the players a chance to earn various PGI.S gear if they can predict the winners. Interested players can also follow the action of the game through the Livestream displays in-game.
