Realme first launched C12 in India back in August 2020 along with the Realme C15. Since then, there was only one Realme C12 variant available in India – the one with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. But Realme has just launched a new C12 variant in India. Having 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, this new variant is priced at INR 9,999. Apart from the memory, the rest of the specifications is the same in this new C12 model.
Features and specifications
Realme C12 comes with a 6.5-inches HD+ IPS LCD panel and has a resolution of 720 x 1600. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass besides having a waterdrop notch on the screen. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset along with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It runs on Android 10 customized with Realme UI out of the box.
The Realme C12 smartphone is also equipped with a 6,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 10W. As for the camera, the rear camera setting includes a 13 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP B/W sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens where as the front notch flaunts the Realme C11’s 5 MP selfie camera. The cameras have also got the special features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus.
Other specifications include 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS connectivity along with mass storage device, USB charging, microUSB 2.0, mobile hotspot, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Besides them, Realme C12 also got various sensors including a light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and fingerprint sensor.
Price and availability
Realme C12 3 GB/ 32 GB variant is already available in India at INR 8,499. The new 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant is also available in the Indian market now at INR 9,999. The new variant is up for sale on Realme’s official website and is available in two color options – Power Blue and Power Silver.
