Vaio E15 laptop with 15-inch Full HD IPS display launched in India

The laptop market in India is growing rapidly, and brands such as Xiaomi, Honor are also making their names in the Indian laptop market. The next laptop to be launched in India is the Vaio E15 Ultrabook.

Vaio is again entering the laptop market here after a long time to participate in the already increasing laptop market. After breaking its partnership with Sony in 2014, Vaio had to depend on multiple regional partnerships for manufacturing, selling and distributing its various products. In India, a Hong-Kong based company Nexstgo acquired the rights for Vaio laptops.

After teasing the market with the photos of the E15 Ultrabook, Vaio has finally launched the laptop in India.

Vaio E15 is set to come with a thin and light build, and with a power/status LED on the right side of the keyboard. The laptop features a 15-inch Full HD IPS display with a slim bezel around it. The laptop runs on AMD Ryzen. Since the laptop is bigger in size, the weight of the laptop was supposed to be an issue with the consumers. The laptop weighs 1.77 kgs which, when compared with other lighter models on the market, is on the heavier side. T

Vaio E15 laptop will pack in a lighting fast SSD and its battery can offer up to 8 hours of battery life. Furthermore, the Vaio E15 will come with a dual speaker. Although, the company had initially promised a lighter model, the addition of the 15-inch display has certainly made the ‘lighter’ part of the promise debatable; however, the laptop is only 19.9 mm thick.

vAIO e15 operates on Windows 10, and comes with a couple of USB 3.1 Type-A ports, an USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, and a microSD card reader. The pricing for the Vaio E15 is supposed to be somewhere around Rs. 60,000 mark.
