Xiaomi has a very long list of smartphones that are to be launched in 2021. On top of them, Xiaomi has been working on several high-end smartphones which will be introduced in the near future. The recent hints indicate that the Xiaomi line up for the 2021 smartphone release could include some high-end models. Among them, “Mars” and “Stars” could be the code names for the two of such smartphone models which may come up with the MediaTek MT6893 and Snapdragon 888 chipsets.
According to the reports, Xiaomi Mars and Stars are some of the high ranged smartphones ever produced by Xiaomi. The leak suggests that the two devices are code-named as “Mars” and “Stars”. The leak also mentions other code names for devices, such as, “cetus”, “venus”, “mtk” etc.
The “cetus” could be the upcoming Mi foldable and the “venus” can be the standard Mi 11 model which is due in 2021. Now, the version 2 of the “venus” model is referred here as “Star” which could be the Mi 11 Pro version. On the other hand, the “Mars” is expected to be the upcoming Redmi K40 Pro, but it could also be the Black Shark 4, as per the reports.
Xiaomi “Star” or the Mi 11 Pro is expected to release in the first quarter of the year 2021. The sources also reveal that the smartphones could have the Snapdragon 888 chipset or can even add up the MediaTek MT6893 one as an alternative.
However, the leaks cannot be the sole proof of the upcoming lineup from Xiaomi. The company itself has not released any statement yet regarding the leak. Regardless of the rumors, Xiaomi still has some excellent new smartphones lined up for release in 2021. Stay tuned for more information on them.
