A few weeks ago it came to everyone’s notice that there has been a significant lack when it comes to delivering processors. However, amidst all of this, the processor maker, AMD has decided that it’s latest Ryzen 9 5900 and Ryzen 7 5800 will not go to retail. All of these processors are intended only for large PC builders. The processor manufacturer has already unveiled the new processors; however, they will not be available to users.
Both the new CPUs are 65 watts which are lower than the previous processors, Ryzen 9 5900X and the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. Ryzen 9 5900 comes with 12 cores and supports 24 threads. Moreover, the processor is clocked at 3.0-4.7 GHz. AMD has claimed that the cache memory of the second level was 6MB and that the third level comes with 64MB. On the other hand, the Ryzen 7 5800 comes with 8 cores and 16 thread support. Moreover, it also has a 4MP L2 cache and 32MP L3 cache with 3.4-4.6 GHz frequencies.
The newly released processors from AMD can already be found in various ready-made computers. This is a useful point of reference for anyone who is looking to get a rough idea about the pricing of the devices equipped with the new processor.
The gaming PC Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition with Ryzen 7 5800 costs less than the one that comes with the Ryzen 7 5800X; on the other hand, the version with Ryzen 9 5900 is cheaper than the version with Ryzen 9 5900X. A few reports have claimed that the Ryzen 7 5800 could be priced at $400, and the Ryzen 9 5900 could be priced somewhere near $500, but the fact remains that AMD has not made the processors available for sale yet, and it is not yet clear if these processors will ever be made available to the public for processing.
