Microsoft may soon release Surface Duo 2 with a three-camera module

Microsoft is preparing to release Surface Duo 2 later this year. The leaked image first appeared in a YouTube video last month, and it is expected that Microsoft will launch the Surface Duo 2 device in September or October.

According to Microsoft, surface Duo 2 will be released later this year. Leaked pictures show that this dual-screen device will include a new three-camera module. The camera system in the Surface Duo 2 appears to be the device’s most significant hardware update. Telephoto, ultra wide-angle, and normal lenses are said to be included.

The gadget, like many other flagship Android phones, features a bulge on the back, according to the leaked photographs. Furthermore, Microsoft appears to have relocated the fingerprint scanner to the Duo 2’s power button, and the USB-C port to the right’s center.

The Surface Duo 2’s general design is believed to be relatively unchanged, with the majority of the key improvements occurring in the camera system and internal specifications.

Surface Duo 2 is expected to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor, 5G connectivity, and an NFC chip for contactless payments, according to speculations. Microsoft may even significantly expand the size of the Surface Duo 2’s dual panels, narrow the bezels, and offer black and white color options.

On the Surface Duo 2, Microsoft appears to be insistent on using a separate screen rather than a truly flexible screen like Samsung’s planned Galaxy Z Fold 3. As a result, all eyes will be on Microsoft’s ability to improve the Surface Duo 2 software.
