Nokia launches the Nokia C30 with a 6000mAh battery in India


Nokia has launched a new smartphone in India called Nokia C30. The new smartphone is now offered in a strategic partnership with the telecom Jio.

The new Nokia C30 features a 6.82-inch of HD+ display. The one thing most talked about feature of this smartphone is its massive battery. The smartphone runs on a 6000mAh battery which offers a service of up to three days on a single charge. “The Nokia C30 is an answer to what people have been asking for – more time between charges, bigger screen, our signature security and durability, and an accessible price point,” Sangeet Singh Kochhar, Vice President, HMD Global said.

Nokia is offering the smartphone in two memory options: 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage. The back of the smartphone features a dual 13 MP camera which is the highest resolution on Nokia’s C-series so far.

Like the other smartphones from this series, the C30 too offers a security update promise. Moreover, the smartphone comes with the added security of fingerprint and face unlock. The whole device comes encased in a polycarbonate shell that is expected to last a long time.

The 3 GB+ 32 GB version of the smartphone is priced at INR. 10,999 and the 4 GB + 64 GB variant is priced at INR. 11,999. Customers who choose to opt for the JioExclusive offer will get an additional 10% off the main price and subsequently will have to pay INR. 9,999 and INR. 10,999 for the 3 GB and the 4 GB variant respectively.

The customers can avail of the JioExclusive offer either by making a purchase at retail stores or through the MyJio app. Moreover, Jio users making a recharge of INR 249 and above will also be eligible for offers worth up to INR 4000 across Myntra, PharmEasy, Oyo, and MakeMyTrip.

The Nokia C30 smartphone is offered in two colors: Green and White.
