Oppo Find X3 Pro passed the most complex CC MDFP certification

Oppo has announced on October 26, that its Oppo Find X3 Pro has passed the CC MDFP certification, making the Chinese company the first one from China to receive the international security certification.

The Common Criteria or the CC certification is one of the world’s highest certification requirements and is one of the most widely recognized international security certification standards. The CC certification can be used in 31 countries around the globe.

What it means for Oppo Find X3 Pro to pass the MDFPP standard is that the smartphone has passed through the standard 7 security function categories including mobile phone security audit, password support, user data protection, identity and authentication, security function protection, device access, and trusted communication, and security assessment and certification. A total of 178 technical requirements certifications and a total of 155 uses have been tested in this method.

This is one of the most complex international certification processes, and now that Oppo’s Find X3 Pro has passed the rigorous processes it means that the smartphone is capable of not only guaranteeing the information security of the users’ daily use, but it also comes with enterprise-level security standards.

Although Oppo has given the highest priority to the security of mobile phones, the company is also dedicated to providing its users with more protection. The new ColorOS 12 is a testament to that.

Wu Henggang, Vice President of OPPO and President of Software Engineering Division – “In recent years, OPPO has continuously added a security team to protect user security and privacy day and night in terms of product security and compliance. Find X3 Pro passed the CC MDFPP security certification this time. A microcosm. In the future, OPPO will continue to provide security protection for 400 million end-users and create safe and reliable products.”
