Vivo Y12A with Snapdragon 439 SoC appeared on various certification websites

Ahead of its launch, one upcoming smartphone from Vivo has surfaced online, and its specs have also been leaked. The smartphone carries the model number V2102 which is the Vivo Y12A. This will be the fourth smartphone in the Y12 series of Vivo, after the launch of the Vivo Y12, Y12s, and the Y12i. The leaked specs mention that the upcoming smartphone will come with Android 11 out of the box, and will also be equipped with 3GB of RAM.

Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. Notably, the Vivo V2034 is already available in the market under the name of Vivo Y20A, so the upcoming Vivo Y12A is most likely to be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y20A.

The Vivo Y20A hit the market back in December 2020. The smartphone sports a 6.51-inch of IPS LCD display that offers a screen resolution of 720 x 1600, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. This smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 439 chipset and comes only in a single memory variant: 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The various certification websites that listed the upcoming Vivo smartphone have confirmed that the Y12A model will come with the Snapdragon 439 SoC which is the same as that of the Vivo Y20A.

The Y20A, however, runs on Android-10 based FuntouchOS 11. On its back, there is a triple camera setup that consists of a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the selfie camera, it is 8MP. The smartphone runs on a massive 5000mAH battery that supports 10W fast charging.

Although officially Vivo has not mentioned anything regarding the launch of the rumored Vivo Y12A, the fact that the specification of the smartphone has appeared on various certification websites may indicate that the smartphone will get launched very soon.
